Excessive Use of Commas

It snowed at least 2 feet here and I hate snow. I know, you’re probably thinking “IS THIS GIRL HUMAN?” As much as I’d like to say, no, no I’m not, way way far back my ancestors were aliens and I know have an omnitrix attached to my wrist, but I can’t. *sigh* Anywho, yes I don’t like snow, deal. It started snowing on Friday night and then stopped early Sunday morning. All Saturday my mom, sister, and I watched movie. It was kinda weird because usually my mom is always running around the house and yelling at us to get off of our butts but (haha) this time she just sat there on the couch with us. 0__o So we watched some pretty normal AND pretty freaky movies. Harry Potter 6 (which ended up with me getting thrown out of the room because I need to learn to, and I quote, “contain my feelings about a certain blonde haired Slytherin”), Queen Elizabeth, we almost watched The Mist but I threw a fit XD, Across the Universe (never saw it before, pretty wicked), then we took a short break and watched an episode or two of Chowder, and finalmente Ginger Snaps: Unleashed. Now, you will most likely never watch this movie, and if you have seen it you may not ever want to watch it again. (has anyone noticed the excessive amount of commas I’ve been using?) We found the movie of the SyFy channel and I was like “oooooh werewolves and rehab centers, let’s watch it!” So we start watching it and it’s REALLY interesting. This girl who is a werewolf is taking these drugs to stop her from turning into a werewolf and killing everybody is found taking these drugs and is sent to a rehab center, where she is deprived of the drugs that keep the beast inside her, and she meets a girl Ghost who helps her out. Now, what I didn’t know was that this was the SECOND movie int he series. So, it was a bit confusing and VERY, VERY strange. Only after the movie do i find out that it’s like some weirdo werewolf horror movie series. Thanks a lot SyFy for not telling me that. >:P

Anyways, back to Harry Potter. *turns to mush* I completely forgot that my second favorite Slytherin, Blaise Zabini, was in the Slug Club. It’s been awhile since I’ve read the book so when I watched the movie I was like OMFG. While we were watchign the movie my Dad asks, “Why do you like Draco Malfoy so much?” and before I can say ANYTHING my mom replies, “Because she thinks he’s hot.” Thanks Mom. Though, the look on my Dad’s face was priceless and later on said, “You can’t date anyone until your twenty-one.”
Then, after the movie I ask my Dad, “If you could play any position in Quidditch what would you play”
“I would be a sweeper.”
“Dad there is no such thing as a sweeper.”
“They have brooms don’t they?”
Ha-fucking-ha Dad. Only my Father could say something like that.

So here’s my qustionf or you. What position would you want to play in Quidditch, and why?

My answer: I’d want to be a chaser because if I miss a few goals, it doesn’t really matter. Now is the seeker doesn’t catch the snitch, well then no one’s going to like him very much are they?

Platform 9 3/4

There is a sign in our art hallway at school that says Platform 9 3/4. Two of my friends and I ran into the wall to see if we could get a ride to Hogwarts. Unfortunately the train had already left. MLIA

True story. No joke.

Anywho, Christmas is coming up and I’m super excited! My family and I are going out to California to visit our relatives. While we’re there we’re going to spend two days in LA and go to places such as Japan Town and see a Japanese Robot Exhibit! I’ll take lots and lots of pictures and try to keep you updated while I’m gone. I’ll be leaving December 24^th.

Yesterday I watched the Ben 10: Alien Swarm movie. IT WAS AMAZING! I LOVE Ben 10 soooo much. I asked for a bunch of Ben 10 stuff for Christmas (i.e. Ben 10 Omnitrix.) My mom rolled her eyes when I gave her my Christmas list.

What did you ask for for Christmas? What are you going to do for Christmas? Or if you don’t celebrate Christmas what do you celebrate?

I got rid of everything and added my portfolio. I really wanted to do the whole lightbox thingy, but I tried and failed so if anyone wants to teach me let me know! I really really wanted to do it, but alas I’m a failure. Anywho I’m off to NY for Thanksgiving. What about everyone else? Where are you going this Thanksgiving? BTW, have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving wherever you may be.

So you may be looking at my layout right now saying “who the eff are these people?” Well, wonder no more! They are a Japanese electronic group called Capsule. I like to call them the Japanese Lady Gaga (Toshiko Koshijima) and her sidekick (Yasutaka Nakata.) Beat that G-Dragon.

I’m thinking of turning this site into a portfolio/blog and not a graphics site. I never actually add anything, but that’s because I’m just selfish. I like to keep everything to myself. Ahahahaha. But, seriously, tell me what you think. Should I change it? I dunno. crazzzzzyyyyyyy thoughts man.
Speaking of crazy I’m currently writing a story, AND NO I am not doing that writers month thingy… Anywho, I only have two chapters up so far, but I would like as many people’s opinions as possible. So go read it!

Long time to blog, huh? Well I have a ligitamite excuse. School work. Actually currently as I type I’m procrastinating. I have a huge essay of the book Siddhartha by Herman Hesse due and don’t want to write it right now. So instead I’m blogging away and staring at my layout. *sigh* I love James Franco. I am glad to say that I’m planning on improving my terrible blogging skills and posting a blog at least once a week. So there, now I shall never again have to apologize to all of you(if there is anyone out there reading this that is). Anywho, hopefully everyone got lots of candy over Halloween. I know I didn’t, but whatever. I actually went trick-or-treating with a bunch of friends then had a huge sleepover party and watched the Brothers Grimm with Matt Damon and Heath Ledger. It was fun even though I didn’t get alot of candy. We sang at every doorstep too! No one gave us extra candy though.

So how was everyone elses Halloween? Did you get alot of candy? What did you go as? (I went as a shadow hunter…LOLs I’m a nerd.)

Today’s the homecoming dance! I can’t wait! I think I’ll be the only one that doesn’t have a dress on though. I’m wearing a high waist wine colored skirt and a black cami with some black shoes. I couldn’t find ANY dresses I liked, because I’m super picky(and hate the 80s.)
Speaking of the 80s…I like to consider myself a very fashionable person, I stay updated with what’s in style etc. etc., and all I have to say is that I’m digging myself a hole and living in it until people start to realize just how hideous the 80s really is. It’s more of a fashion no-no than anything. I mean, what possessed fashion designers to use the 80s? Ugh, it drives me crazy. But you either like it or hate it, and if you hate it you’ll just have to deal. Wow. That sounded like it came off of Project Runway or something. I need to stop watching TV.
So on to more pressing matters (because no one really cares about a little fashion drama.) Box of Heroes. The name souds so lame now….HOLYF******MOTHERTOGOD…..BOH is a year old. :0 This calls for celebration!!!!! I should have a party or something. WOW. The sad thing is I didn’t even realize it until like a minute ago! Man I’m excited now…forget about this layout I’m making a special one just for the sites b-day. XP Affies, expect some weird gift from me. I’m all hyped up now. Who cares about homecoming or the 80s? My site is a year old!

Dead, D-E-D, Dead

The monitor on our apple computer is dead my friends, d-e-d, dead. Right now we’re using some weird Dell replacement monitor thingy…idk what it’s actually called (my knowledge of computer appliances amazes you doesn’t it?). Yeah, yeah I spelled dead wrong. Get over. It’s a story my Dad always tells me about when he was in med school. I can’t remember the exact story but in the end one of the docs spelled dead wrong. It’s funnier when my Dad tells it.
So what have I been up to? Nothing much, oh well besides all the school work and quizzes. Gosh one would think the world was going to end the way the teachers are handing out the quizzes this year! Not only do I have loads of school work but me and a friend are int he process of creating a Japanese Club at school because, our school has a Korean Club and a Chinese Club but NOT a Japanese Club. So, a friend and I decided we’d start one. It’s been pretty stressful so far. I’ve been having issues finding potential members. It seems no one wants to learn Japanese culture and language.
So far my Computer Graphics class has been fun. A lot of it has been pretty easy for me but, I am learning about small things I never really took the time to learn before. It’s been really great, well except for the fact that there’s a bunch of annoying Freshman in the class. Ugh, Freshman urk me. Yeah, yeah I know I’m only a Sophomore and I’m still an underclassman but they’re just really annoying. I just hope I wasn’t that bad last year. Do younger students urk you? They urk me. Oh well I’ll just let it go.

School's Begun

Well hey there everybody! I know its been awhile since I’ve really blogged and I’m sorry about that. School has started for me and I’m already being given tons of homework. I am now a Sophomore!! WOOT! No longer am i at the very bottom of the Totem Pole. Nothing has really changed though. School still the same and the teachers are still just as weird. This year in school I’m taking a computer graphics class. So hopefully I’ll learn something. Right now though we’re just doing stuff I can already do. For example: last class we had to color a rubber duck and place it in a different picture. Though I did figure out what the clone stamp is for. I never really figure it out. so how has school been for everyone else? Do you like your teachers? Do you like your classes?

Hope fully I’ll have something better to talk about next time. But for now au revoir!

I feel like such a nerd right now. At this exact moment I am playing Pokemon Diamond while listening to the Digimon theme song on my Ipod while writing on my blog. YAY FOR NERDS!!! Oh and just F.Y.I. don’t try and fight water Pokemon with water Pokemon…it doesn’t work. XP Oh geez I’m weird. So yesterday I went onto youtube to see if anyone from camp had put up any videos or anything and I found the music video my club made! For the first week of camp (camp was two weeks) I was in the Video club and we made a music video. It ends up that Yamato-sensei put the video up on youtube! It’s so bad it’s hilarious!!! Especially the one of Jojo-sensei and Ken-sensei’s (only my favorite two male sensei) skit.

While the music video club was fun my favorite part of camp was all the dancing! The dances are so much fun and are usually easy (with the exceptions of So Exclusive and Traveling (Utada Hikaru).) My favorite dance is UFO. It was problably the first dance that I learned at camp last year and will always be amazing. On a later note I went and saw Ponyo. It’s so cute!!! I loved it so much! I won’t say anything to spoil it but it was really adorable and I suggest you go see it! I love Miyazaki’s films they’re always so great! well i guess that’s all for now!

Outer Space

Yay! I’m finally home from camp! Camp was loads of fun. I don’t believe I mentioned what kind of camp it was….so I went to a Japanese Immersion Camp. It was AMAZING and I learned plenty of Japanese.

As you can see after coming back I made a new layout for the site! I made everything BUT the background. If you’re wondering what it says:

Sun: Doko kara kimashita ka? (where are you from?)
Girl: Uchuu Kuukan kara kimashita. (I am from outer space.)

So yes. Fun stuff, fun stuff. I’m really not sure what to say. Should I rant on about camp? Should I end it now? I don’t know. If you want to hear about my weird camp experiences let me know. If not I understand. XP

Dammit.

I’ve been feeling really stressed lately with everything that’s going on in my life. For starters I know I never mentioned this but my family and I had to suddenly move houses this summer. We just finished moving and now the new house, yes we moved. My parents decided they wouldn’t waste money on movers so my Dad just got help from some co-workers and we rented a truck. Because I’ve moved so much the moving didn’t bother me but now when I look around the house with all the boxes that we need to empty and I’m just internally groaning. I know I’m sounding lazy but I’ve moved six times (including this one) in my fifteen years of life and just wish for once that I could stay in one spot for more than a few years. Unfortunately, we’re only staying in this house for a year. *sigh* The life of an army brat. Do not envy me.

Then, this Sunday I’m off to Minnesota for an immersion japanese camp for two weeks. So affies please don’t remove me!!!

So I have camp and I haven’t packed for that yet either…*sigh* Oh well.
Well I’m going to stop complaining and go unpack some boxes.

Movie Mania

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE Tom Felton/Draco Malfoy. *sigh* I’ll never get bored of this layout. ;)
I’m so lame…I just took one of the posters for HP 6 and cut Draco out of it. My amazingness shines through once again, yes I know. God I love Tom. Unfortunatley he’s too old for me. :’( If only I could suddenly turn 21(my 21^st birthday is my golden birthday…it’s ironic since I’ll be able to drink and crap. lol)…but no, I still have six more years to wait…and the he’ll be even older. Why do all the hot guys have to be older than me?!?! There aren’t ANY actors around my age that are good looking…*sigh* Tis’ my fate to live in a world amongst ugly men.

So I went and saw Transformers 2! IT WAS AWESOME! Maybe even better than the 1^st one. Of course what I didn’t realize is that Josh Duhamel plays Major Lennox until yesterday when I was reading an article about him in In Style.
That’s like today I didn’t know Robin Williams played the voice of Lovelace, the narrator and Ramon. Plus who knew Hugh Jackman could sing?!?! Not I. Now I laugh whenever Memphis talks.. I know, I know, I’m just soooo smart.

Well swim is over. I’m so sad…I miss everyone now. Even one of my coaches who called me Coraline the whole time. At the banquet I went up to him with buttons on my eyes..it freaked him out and made the others coaches laugh! His girlfriend gave me this weird/nasty look too when I went to give him a hug. I was like…uhhhh yeah…

OMG! Has anyone ever watched True Blood? I’m like in LOVE with the show right now. It’s one of those HBO series and is AH-MAZING! It’s based off these books (which I have never even read…) and is all about vampires and this girl Sookie who can read minds…. Of course it’s sooooooo much better than Twilight too! Because well we all know real vamps don’t sparkle! It really is better…the plot is better, the characters are better, and so are the cast members. I mean seriously people?!?! Robert Pattinson! Ewwwww…. and Kristen Stewart can’t act. Sorry it’s just a sad fact of life.

Anyways moving on has anyone seen the commercials for M. Knight Shamilayan’s The Last Airbender? It looks amazing!!! I went to this site called avatar wiki and found out who’s acting for a lot of the roles and since I’ms o nice I’ll tell you!

Aang- Noah Ringer- Noah has never acted before but is Texas’ taekwondo champion. He’s 12 years old and was chosen to play the part of Aang after submitting a home made video of him practicing taekwondo.

Katara- Nicola Peltz….there’s not much info on her. She doesn’t seem that big of an actress.

Sokka- Jackson Rathbone- That’s right people Twilight’s Jasper is going to play Sokka…well see how well he does.

Prince Zuko (my fave. character.)-Dev Patel- Oh yeah baby. Slumdog Millionaire’s Dev Patel is playing Prince Zuko. Originally it was Jesse McCartney who was going to play him but when they found out that Jesse had an event that contradicted when the cast was going to go to a martial arts boot camp they fired him and picked up Patel instead.

General Iroh- Shaun Toub- He seems to be a pretty decent guy. He looks the part(sorta). He’s appeared in a lot of popular TV shows and was in movies such as Kite Runner and Iron Man.

Suki-Jessica Jade Andres- She hasn’t had any big roles in anything. Just small parts.

Princess Yue-Seychelle Gabriel- Seychelle has been in The Spirit and Welfare to Love.

Kanna- Katharine Houghton- There’s not much about her on the site.. we’ll just have to see how she does.

Fire Lord Ozai-Cliff Curtis- Curtis has been in movies such as Whale Rider.

General Zhao-Aasif Mandvi- He was in Music and Lyrics and Spider-Man 2. Plus appeared in many TV shows.

Okay now that I’ve given you all that information to drool/rant over I’m going to go watched some TV.

I went and saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on Friday. As usual the movie sucked….well except for all of the scenes with Draco in it… As a movie on it’s own…it was entertaining enough but it wasn’t great. Sorry Harry Potter fans but the books are wayyyyyyyyyyyy better. Though Tom Riddle is quite a cutie. I won’t say anything else though so as not to spoil the movie for others who have yet to see it….though if anyone cares to talk about it with me just IM me (icanbeodd.)

Though the movie wasn’t great I might be making a layout feat. Draco. >.> I dunno though…..guess you’ll just have to wait and see. ;)

Anywho…this was a lame blog. Can’t say I have much to talk about (unless you want to hear me rant about swimming…if so call Caroline at 1-800-SWIM. THAT’S RIGHT! Call now and you’ll not just get an hour of pure ranting but 2 HOURS!!!) LOL. K well….QUESTION TIME?
